Volunteer & Attend MIC For Free
On September 30th, MIC will transition to Atlanta. Seize this opportunity to be part of the team responsible for creating one of the largest and most impactful events serving the military community. You’ll gain access to enlightening talks, engaging exhibits, and invaluable networking opportunities – all at no cost.
Hospitality – Assignments may include directing attendees in the conference headquarters hotel, staffing the Hospitality Area, welcoming Sponsors and Speakers, and other tasks.
Registration – During heavy ‘check-in’ time blocks, and essentially all day Wednesday, two to three volunteers are needed to work registration, along side MIC staff. Volunteer hours at registration counters are anticipated to be during the following dates/times: Monday, from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Tuesday/Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Breakout Session Room Hosts – This is an assignment for volunteers comfortable interacting with audiences and presenters. As a host, you will help with handouts, introductions and in some cases, will assist speakers in the question and answer period. This is a great volunteer option for those who wish to volunteer and still take advantage of education sessions.
General Session Assistance – There are three general sessions. Volunteers help usher, aide Conference Team members, chaperone entertainers, set out special event items, and perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks.
