From PCS moves to final transitions from the military spouses are often expected to fill in the gap and carry the burden of finding normalcy throughout these transitions. This session will discuss the challenges of transition, keeping your own identity, providing self-care, and maintaining a successful career. Amy will share with you her journey and the work that the COMMIT Foundation is doing to help spouses across the nation flourish in the midst of transition.

Amy brings over 10 years of experience in Military transition training. Amy was a member of the inaugural Bush Institute Velteran Leadership Program and has previously worked with the Institute for Veteran and Military Families and the USMC Marine for Life program. Amy is married to a Navy Veteran, has two daughters, and resides in NC. Amy’s passion for learning and connecting with people fuels her desire to see all people become the best version of themselves. Amy has a Doctorate of Education and Masters of Education from Liberty University.
