Competition Overview

In partnership with Warrior Rising, the Military Innovation Challenge is a premier event that celebrates the ingenuity and resilience of entrepreneurs from across the military-connected community. This challenge provides a platform for trailblazers to transform their ideas into impactful opportunities, competing for a share of over $100,000 in cash, resources, and prizes to accelerate their ventures.

The challenge, structured in four progressive stages, will take place at the Signia by Hilton Atlanta from September 30th to October 3rd.

Event Overview:

  • Dates: October 1st – 3rd

Challenge Structure:

  1. Online Submission (Opens August 15th):

    • Entrepreneurs from the military-connected community are invited to submit their initial business concepts and complete the application process by [deadline TBD]. This first stage ensures that the most promising ideas are identified for the next round.

  2. Initial Pitch – Fast Pitch Event (October 2nd):

    • Selected applicants will showcase their ideas in a high-energy, Fast Pitch Event. Each entrepreneur will have a limited time to present their concept to a panel of judges. This stage is designed to test the clarity, impact, and potential of the proposed ventures.

  3. Mentor Rounds:

    • Those advancing from the Fast Pitch Event will enter the Mentor Rounds. Here, participants will engage in intensive, speed-coaching sessions with a cadre of seasoned mentors and business coaches. These sessions will provide invaluable feedback, refine business strategies, and prepare participants for the final pitch.

  4. Final Pitch (October 3rd):

    • The challenge culminates with the Final Pitch, where the top participants present their polished pitches on stage to a live audience and a new panel of judges. The stakes are high as the audience also plays a role in the voting process, adding an exciting dynamic to the competition. The most compelling and innovative ventures will win a share of the $100,000+ in cash, resources, and prizes.
