I served 6 years active duty in the US Army with deployments to Iraq and S. Korea. I was in the signal corps but began my journey as a writer and communicator while supporting generals and diplomats at the US Embassy in Iraq. Since then I’ve gone on to achieve an MS in Strategic Communications from Columbia University, published articles in The New York Times, CNN, Forbes, Playboy, Washington Post, Huffington Post and elsewhere.
I’ve also worked as a content marketer for the United Nations, Washington Post Brand Studio, David Lynch Foundation, and several small businesses. Currently, I am the content lead in re-designing goarmy.com. My expertise that will be valuable to this audience is in creating data-driven content strategies that are flexible across small and large budgets for rising entrepreneurs and established businesses.
