Chaunte’ N. Myers is no stranger to understanding military culture. Growing up as an Air Force dependent in a family steeped in military tradition, it is easy to understand her drive, determination and unyielding passion for serving the military and the military-affiliated community.
As a U.S. Air Force OIF/OEF Veteran serving 15+ years, Chaunte’ has a deeply rich perspective regarding the trials and tribulations associated with multiple long-term deployments and can attest all too well to the sacrifices related to steadfastly maintaining such commitments. Having honorably served in an Active Duty as well as Reserve capacity, she brings a realistic perspective and understanding with respect to addressing the functional challenges associated with transitioning from a military commitment and reintegrating into the civilian sector as a veteran.
Since 2011, Mrs. Myers has served as Chief Executive Officer of Centurion Military Alliance (CMA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based transition assistance program designed to train, prepare and educate our nation’s transitioning military, veterans, family members and caregivers. Considered a force-multiplier for DOD-TAP, CMA’s multidisciplinary integrated curriculum (co-authored by Mrs. Myers) is built upon a foundation of holistic health and well-being which underpins and further supports three core societal pillars: Educational Attainment, Financial Literacy, and Vocational Proficiency.
CMA’s curriculum which has been successfully utilized by over 7000 transitioning active duty, veterans, spouses and caregivers to date.
Today, CMA’s program is seen as an innovative game-changer – a uniquely robust Community-Based Transition Assistance Program that has garnered notable attention from the DOD Transition Assistance Program (TAP) and among military service organizations. Under Chaunte’s collaborative direction, CMA has successfully forged relationships with organizations such as Army Soldier for Life (SFL), Association of the United State Army (AUSA), Air Force Association (AFA), Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA), United Service Organizations (USO) – Pathfinder Program, the Society of Human Resources (SHRM) and many other local, national, public, private, faith-based and non-profit like-minded support organizations that have coalesced to form a comprehensive transition support network.
Committed to being a life-long learner, Chaunte’ holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Applied Management as well as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with an emphasis in Government & Policy degree from Grand Canyon University. She also holds multiple Personal Training certificates, a CrossFit Level 1 Certificate, a Masters Level Certificate in Human Resource Management, and an Executive Level Career Coach Certificate. She is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Business Administration with Trident University International.
